MSc in mining geology at the CSM
« Thread Started on Oct 19, 2009, 11:21am »

Hi all,

I'm a new entry my name is Andrea and I'm thinking of getting a MSc in Mining Geology at the CSM but I don't know nothin' about the university and the MSc, so guys I've some things to ask:

- I've a BSc in Geology, is it ok for getting the MSc?
- how's the job situation for a Geologist in UK or abroad?
- What's the best country for working as Geologist?
- I want get the part - time course (3 years of study !!!!) so, at the end of the MSc is it easy finding a job?
- The CSM is it a valid school for studying?
- I saw here: http://www.exeter.ac.uk/employability/students/destpostgrad.shtml#earthresources ; the various destinations. But is it true that a graduate from the CSM is employed in some of these destinations?
- what's your global opinion at the end of the course?

Many thanks
